Guanamar is located on Playa Carrillo on the northern Pacific coast of Costa Rica. A rock reef on the north end of the bay acts as a natural barrier, providing calm waters ideal for water sports such as scuba diving and ocean kayaking. Crystal-clear water, white sands and lush tropical vegetation combine to make a perfect spot to spend your vacation! The Carrillo beach has been awarded the "blue flag" as one of Costa Rica's cleanest beaches, and the hotel Guanamar has received an award by the Costa Rican tourism ministry for its advanced environmental practices and community involvement.
