Most of the canopy tour are located in a primary jungle area that has been protected since the early 1900's when land owners set most of it aside as a private reserve. The climate in this area is very warm and usually humid. The tour consists of several platforms.

You will have the opportunity to see white-faced capuchin and howler monkeys in its Natural Habitat from the platforms as well as many varieties of birds. At the end of the tour, for the most adventurous person, you can try a rappelling down 21 meters to the edge of the stream. Enjoy a delicious lunch before you’ll head back to San Jose.

Canyoning is specifically practiced in the natural geographic setting of canyons. This extreme activity involves rappelling and descending cliffs and waterfalls within the canyon.
